Elizabeth Jane Hurley was born on June 10th 1965 in Basingstoke, Hampshire in England. She is the daughter of Angela and Roy Hurley. Roy is of Irish decent and a Major in the British Army. Angela, her mum was a teacher at the Kempshott Infant School. Elizabeth is a middle child with one older sister and a younger brother. As a young girl, she took ballet classes and studied dance and theatre at the London Studio Centre. Elizabeth became involved with punk fashions while in her teens. She died her hair pink and had a piercing in her nose. It was the thing to do where she grew up and not actually out of the ordinary for the teens of Basingstoke to dress in the punk style.
Elizabeth is an actress and English model. She was in a relationship with Hugh Grant during the 1990′s. Elizabeth accompanied Hugh to the London premier of his huge box office success Four Weddings and a Funeral. She grabbed headlines all over the world for the Versace dress she wore to the event. Her relationship with Hugh Grant ended in 2000. Elizabeth has been the face of Estee Lauder Cosmetics Company. Her first modeling assignment for the cosmetics giant was at the age of twenty nine. Her relationship with the company has continued since 1995. Two of Elizabeth’s best known movie roles have been in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. In these two hit films Elizabeth plays Vanessa Kensington. Some of her other movie roles have included, Aria in 1987, Passenger 57, EDtv, Bedazzled, and Serving Sara in 1997. Elizabeth won the ShoWest Supporting Actress of the Year for her performance in the comedy Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery.

If you like English Actresses either for their looks or for their sexy accent then you will no doubt love to see Elizabeth Hurley in some of her great roles through the last decade. Born in 1965, Liz is going on 45 this year but with such a great body and youthful looks you would more likely think that she is turning 25 instead. Liz is no amateur when it comes to the movie business which she has been performing in for many years now and her roles as an actress are diverse as well as brilliant. Many people would know that Liz was dating Hugh Grant in the 1990s however this did not go as planned and since then Liz has dated a few other men and kept herself busy with work and personal life. Working alongside Mike Myers in the Austin Powers movies she reached even bigger stardom than she did in Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Elizabeth Hurley started her acting career in 1987 after being helped out by Hugh Grant after he discovered this actress out of work and in desperate need of a career change. Once her face was broadcast on TV and in the movies she was said to be an instant success because of her graceful ways and beautiful looks. Liz has been in many movies over her long 23 year career including some that many people would have never heard about. In 1990 she played a role in Kill Cruise and then in 1992 she played a role in what later became a real blockbuster, Passenger 57. In 1997 the first of the Austin Powers movies came out which starred Liz as the lead support role to Mike Myers. Unfortunately we find out that she is really a robot in the second movie so her role in this one is very short lived. The My Favorite Martian movie was released in 1999 however it was her role as the devil in Bedazzled which gave us all the clues that Liz Hurley is one of the most changeable actors in Hollywood who can do a great job in just about any role.
