Elizabeth Hurley is an actress and a model who rose to fame in the acting world largely due to her relationship with Hugh Grant around the time that he filmed Four Weddings and a Funeral. She has since gone on to forge a career for herself in the acting world with roles in some very successful films. The relationship between her and Hugh Grant, however, still follows her and, having been known as Hugh Grant’s girlfriend during the 13 year relationship, after the amicable separation she became known as Hugh Grant’s former girlfriend. This, however, hasn’t prevented Hurley from remarrying, which she did in 2007 to Arun Nayar.

She has appeared in a few films since her acting career began in 1987 as a minor role in the film Aria. Her most notable performance came in the 1997 Austin Powers film, International Man of Mystery. For her performance as Vanessa Kensington, the secret agent that thawed out Austin Powers and eventually fell in love and married him. It was an excellent performance that won her the ShoWest award for the Best Supporting Actress in a film; her first and only award to date. She has since appeared in minor roles in numerous other films, whilst not quite returning to the heady heights of her 1997 success. She is currently part of a film in production called the Wild Bunch, where her voice is being used for one of the characters. So if you are an Elizabeth Hurley fan, the film is due to come out in 2011.
